What was the topic of your capstone project? Why did you choose that topic? What did you learn?
Leveraging Policy to Manage Risk and Prioritize Resource Allocation in the Management of Cybersecurity in Healthcare Environments – An Enterprise Risk Management Based Approach
Finish this sentence: I could not have gotten through the MSL program without…
The extraordinary professors who allowed me so much flexibility when I struggled with having the time to get my work done. They were compassionate and truly wonderful people who made it possible to work the crazy schedule that I had and finish the coursework.

Who are your mentors? How have they impacted your journey?
I have the utmost respect for Prof. Rauschecker and his ability to ask the right questions and help think out the pieces of my capstone.

Who was your favorite professor and why?
I can not choose one. Professor Yelin has an engaging approach to his classes and is a great communicator. Professor Rauschecker is patient, thorough and his humility given how much he knows is inspiring. Prof. Vesely is engaged and funny and has a great command of emergency management and communicates it well. Prof. McWeeney is funny, engaging and provides a strong understanding of administrative law. Prof. Cornelieus provides a good framework of understanding and very responsive.

What was your favorite class and why?
My favorite class by far was my capstone. I had an opportunity to combine my work with everything I had learned in the program to develop a model that is being implemented in the world’s largest electronic health record program.

How will you use what you learned in the MSL program?
I will be using the MSL program work to create policy and develop models for government clients.
