What was the topic of your capstone project? Why did you choose that topic? What did you learn?
My capstone project was about how cyber terrorism has become the #1 threat to our national security. I learned that individuals had access to our information with such ease and anonymity! Our lives could all easily be exploited and turned upside down by just a click of a button. I learned a lot more but for the sake of time, I cut it short. (Haha)

Finish this sentence: I could not have gotten through the MSL program without…
Our amazing and oh so very understanding professors! The year that I was completing this MSL programming was a year full of intense obstacles for me. My professors were very understanding and VERY HELPFUL during my difficult times. I could not be more thankful for them.

Who are your mentors? How have they impacted your journey?
Sadly, I don’t think I had any mentors. That’s on me!

Who was your favorite professor and why?
Professor’s McWeeney, Vesely, & Greer. Prof. McWeeney was altogether a great professor & a great person to virtually interact with! Her guidance made an instant impact on me & I won’t forget how great she was. Wish I could have had taken more of her courses. Prof. Vesely is the one professor I have had multiple times. His presentations were great & easy to follow (which is important in an online class)! He also taught all of my favorite courses & was very helpful throughout this entire program! Prof. Greer was the most interactive! I’m very appreciative of his guidance & willingness to help!

What was your favorite class and why?
Counter-Terrorism Law was my most favorite but difficult class. This class was my favorite because this is my area of interest! There is nothing more intriguing to me than the world of Counter Terrorism! Wish there were more courses in this area!

How will you use what you learned in the MSL program?
Working in Congress, I plan to use what I learned in the MSL program to pursue a job with either the Intelligence or Foreign Affair Committees. The law part of this program is going to be very helpful with my job as a whole! Being that Congress writes and passes laws. This program from the start made me a better staffer and I’m looking forward to being able to apply all that I have learned in this program, in my real life!
