Who was your favorite professor and why?
Professor Michael Pinard taught me to love the process of being a lawyer. Professor Lee Kovarsky taught me a lawyer doesn’t have to fit into a mold. Dean Donald Tobin taught me how a lawyer should lead. Professor Jana Singer taught me how a lawyer should be kind. Professor Max Stearns taught me how a lawyer anchors themselves in their core values. Professor Mike Beland taught me a lawyer can carve their own career path. And Kathy Frey-Balter taught me how a good lawyer always brings a passionate energy to their work.
Write a message.
Thank you to my fellow classmates, to my law professors, to my mentors, and to all the friends I made along the way. Maryland Law was always the right place for me. Three years in Baltimore: it sure felt longer as it was happening. But now it feels like just a minute. And you all made it worth it.
Thank you to my wife, MacKenzie, for always being by my side and for always being supportive. I couldn’t love you and Bowen any more.
