What was your most memorable law school moment?
Traveling with Emily, Harrison, and Professors Percival and Piermattei to Malaysia to present research at the IUCN’s Academy of Environmental Law colloquium was an unforgettable experience. Not only did it open academic doors I never expected, but it also gave me a doorway into a month long frolic in South-East Asia. Looking back at it now, it’s as if I preemptively took a bar trip. The professors really demonstrated the importance in sharing knowledge with peers and building a strong network.

Finish this sentence: I could not have gotten through law school without…
all my friends who let me drag them around to eat at a restaurant.

Who are your mentors? How have they impacted your journey?
Grateful for Camille Parker’s listening, wisdom, and stern suggestions that she has provided to me since 1L year. As well as countless members of the school and community whose advice helped guide my law school journey.

What was your favorite class and why?
The Legal Dimensions of Doing Business in Latin America. A couple weeks in Argentina, especially considering how 2020 turned, was one of the best decisions I made. It was a great experience learning from US professors, Argentine professors, and meeting with Argentine lawyers. While learning about doing Business in Latin America, I traveled around Argentina and got to talk to people about how law and policy has affected local economics. Made new friends and ate my way around Argentina, Uruguay, and Brazil.
