Dear 2020 Graduates,
I won’t lie. Although I graduated long ago, (1983 to be exact), I remember my graduation and it makes me sad that COVID-19 is stealing that memory from you before it even happens. That said, missing graduation doesn’t diminish the work or accomplishments of these past few years nor should you let it dim your plans for the future. In the long run, which admittedly can be hard to see from where we stand now, it’s a bump in the road. So congratulations on surviving law school, great luck in the future, and celebrate it all with the people who matter to you when this passes–and it will.
