(**up in the air due to COVID-19**) Tentatively I will continue as a Law Clerk for Parker, Pallett, Slezak, and Russell, LLC in White Marsh, Maryland until I pass the Bar.

What was your most memorable law school moment?
Representing my second client in court through the Pre-Release and Parole Advocacy Clinic. The first bail review hearing was terrifying, but the second one couldn’t have gone better or felt more natural!

Finish this sentence: I could not have gotten through law school without…
Coffee, my family, and my friends

Who are your mentors? How have they impacted your journey?
My main mentor and role model through this law school journey has been my boss, Karmen Slezak. Her faith in me has been incredibly encouraging and I will forever value how she has pushed me out of my comfort zone to make me a better (almost) attorney!

What did you learn about yourself in law school?
So I started running half marathons in law school and I learned that the two things aren’t much different. Both start off daunting and can seem impossible at different times, but through them both I have learned about own my mental toughness and endurance.

Who was your favorite professor and why?
My favorite professor was my clinic professor, Brian Saccenti because of the level of support he gave us and the way that he treated us as colleagues.

What was your favorite class and why?
My favorite class was Professor Dilloff’s ADR class because it was the most fun that I had in law school and I learned a lot in the process!

Write a message.
There are so many people that I want to thank for helping me cross the law school finish line:

To my parents & sister– thank you for the endless support & encouragement and for always answering my phone calls, I truly couldn’t have done this without you guys!

To my family– thank you for believing in me & for all of the things you’ve done, big & small!

To Julie & Jackie– LETS POP THAT SPARKLING WINE!! Also, thanks for listening to me complain and/or ramble legalese and for constantly encouraging me to be better!

To Kaitlin– Thanks for walking this journey before me and for all of the advice & guidance!

To my law school friends– Thank you for the Starbucks runs (especially you Susan), wine nights, & everything in between. You made law school much more tolerable!

To all of my other friends– Thank you for being available for happy hours, tacos, hiking trips, and moral support!

And lastly to my bosses & professors– Thank you for pushing me and believing in me!

WE DID IT!!!
