What was the topic of your capstone project? Why did you choose that topic? What did you learn?
Tourette’s Syndrome and Law Enforcement. I have TS and struggle with neurological disabilities, so I enjoyed being able to research a topic that was near and dear to my heart.

Who was your favorite professor and why?
Prof. Ben Yelin and Prof. Chris Webster. The amount of knowledge and passion that they brought to the classroom was so contagious and made me very excited to learn the material.

What was your favorite class and why?
Public Health Law. It allowed me to study a lot of my different, intersecting interests in the context of health law, and helped me put a lot of things that I learned throughout the program in perspective.

How will you use what you learned in the MSL program?
I will use the knowledge I gained in the MSL to advocate for students and others who have disabilities, ensuring that they know the rights that they have, and where to seek appropriate resources.
