What was the topic of your capstone project? Why did you choose that topic? What did you learn?
Legal Rational for a Kinetic Self Defense Response to a Cyber Attack
Finish this sentence: I could not have gotten through the MSL program without…
The assistance of fantastic instructors and wonderful technology
Who are your mentors? How have they impacted your journey?
My parents who said I could do anything I put my mind to. My wife who has put up with all of my education endeavors, and Berry Dalnekoff who has always been there when I need a sounding board
Who was your favorite professor and why?
It is difficult to chose just one instructor because they were all so good; however, if I had to choose one it would be Markus Rauschecker. I had him for Legal Methods, that I completely blew the first time, proving you can not slack in law school, not even a little, and for my Capstone.
What was your favorite class and why?
My capstone was the best class. I had all the tools I needed, which gave me the confidence that I would hand in a good paper.
How will you use what you learned in the MSL program?
I have a graduate certificate in cyber technology, masters of science in cybersecurity. With my education in cybersecurity law, along with my twenty plus years in the computer field, I look forward to landing a position as an IT Director for a mid size law firm.
