Finish this sentence: I could not have gotten through law school without…
Addison, Dominic, and Emma

What did you learn about yourself in law school?
Who you are as a person matters so much more than your grades ever will.

Who was your favorite professor and why?
Maneka is the most amazing professor. She challenges you, your notions and your beliefs. She is there for you if you need her and has been very supportive. It is great to see a young woman of color so successful and to have her as a role model.

What was your favorite class and why?
The Criminal Defense Clinic was my favorite class. Although it was a lot of hard work, time and dedication, we were able to investigate, plan, prepare, argue in court, and make life-long friends!

Write a message.
I want to thank my parents who moved across the world to provide my siblings and I with the best education possible and my sisters and Uncle Ahmed, who dealt with all things law because of me. I also want to thank my doggo Kocholo, Hend and the entirety of the Al-Tamimi family, My aunts and uncles, Ira Geminiano, Dominic, Addison, Emma, and Miles and everyone else that contributed to my education in some way or another, whether it was by providing us with cake (Shout out to the admissions Team) or just lent a sympathetic ear for me to vent. I couldn’t have gotten through law school without you all.
