Finish this sentence: I could not have gotten through this experience without…
the grace of God, my lovely friends, family, and boyfriend’s love and support.

Who are your mentors? How have they impacted your journey?
I have had many mentors along the way but the most impactful mentor I have had was my BLSA negotiation coach, Alexander Montanio. Her advice is so helpful and she takes a genuine interest in her mentees life! Also, her dedication to helping younger lawyers thrive and be successful in the industry and her commitment to her community is inspiring!

What did you learn about yourself while earning this degree?
I can do anything through Christ, who strengthens me. – Philippians 4:13

Who was your favorite professor and why?
My favorite professor was Professor Andrew Blair-Stanek. He took great care to make sure his students were understanding material in his class, was enthusiastic to teach, and took an interest in his students legal interests and gave great advice on how to make your legal profession dreams a reality.

What was your favorite class and why?
My favorite class was the Low Income Taxpayer Clinic with Professors Beverly Winstead and Steve Kauffman. They allowed me to gain experience with tax law with a big emphasis on community outreach! Through the clinic, I was able to directly assist taxpayers in the community and I learned so much. It was really fulfilling to help out taxpayers that needed assistance with their controversies!

Thank you so much to my boyfriend, Manny; my mom, Marie; and all my friends and family for supporting me through this huge endeavor. I seriously could not have made it through without you all’s support, advice, and prayers. You all became my unwavering support system when I did not think I could make it through these 4 years! A special thank you to all my mentors that supported me and gave me great advice along the way and reminded me to keep along on my journey. There is no way I could ever repay you all. I just want you all to know that I love you all and I am forever grateful.
