What was your most memorable moment?
Watching the 3 exonerees of a wrongful conviction case I had the honor to assist with as an intern walk out of Baltimore City Circuit Court and go home with their families after spending 36 years in prison.

Who are your mentors? How have they impacted your journey?
My alumni mentor Letam Duson and my BLSA mentor Taylor Nichols. They were always willing to offer helpful advice and lend an ear when I needed to talk through any thoughts and concerns I was having.

What did you learn about yourself while earning this degree?
That I am much stronger than I thought I was. That I can adapt to more than I thought I could.

Who was your favorite professor and why?
Brian Saccenti who was my clinic professor and is also The Chief of The Appellate Division at The Maryland Office of The Public Defender. He exemplifies compassionate and zealous lawyering.

What was your favorite class and why?
The Pretrial Release and Parole Advocacy Clinic (now titled The Juvenile Lifer Advocacy Clinic)
