the support of my loving family, my friends and classmates.
Who are your mentors? How have they impacted your journey?
Although they are not formally my mentors, Dean Morris and Dina Billian in the Career Development Office have served as mentors. They have both impacted my journey by always being there to answer my questions and to provide me with the tools necessary to succeed.
What did you learn about yourself while earning this degree?
I learned that I can thrive outside of my comfort zone. Many times, I was challenged and was faced with obstacles that required me to step out of my comfort zone. I learned to not only embrace new opportunities and challenges, but to welcome them.
Who was your favorite professor and why?
I have two favorite professors – Professor Gifford and Professor Ertman. They are my favorite professors for the same reasons – they show excitement and enthusiasm about teaching, they care about the students, and are knowledgeable.
What was your favorite class and why?
My favorite class was contracts. I thoroughly enjoyed the fact that my contracts class had a practical approach. Professor Ertman made me excited to come to class because I could tell she cared that her students understood the material and that she was excited to teach.
Congratulations LeBrit!
