Who are your mentors? How have they impacted your journey?
My mentors are my mother who always prayed for me to succeed and my uncle Mac who always promoted success and encouraged hard work to attain my goals.

What did you learn about yourself while earning this degree?
I learned that I have the strength to accomplish the anything I want and the stamina to continue learning non-stop,

Who was your favorite professor and why?
Professor Vesely was my favorite because he always gave life to the subject matter of his lectures and injected humor and relatable analogies to keep the information interesting,

What was your favorite class and why?
My favorite class was Law and Policy of Public Health Emergency Response.

Thank you to my beautiful and wonderful wife for encouraging me to come this degree and being my soundilng board for case law and legal research. Thank you to my mother Dorothy Johnson for your love and support throughout my life. Thank you to my late Uncle Mac for being an exemplary example of a man and for teaching me what success really looks like. Thank you to my children, Ajani, Jayden, and Amina for being great kids and giving me space to get my studies done when we could have been doing something a little more fun.
